Common questions
Is surgery the only option?
Not always. Some AVMs, aneurysms and small tumours can be treated through the blood vessels or with focused radiation. Ask each hospital which options suit you and why.
What should I send for a quote?
Your latest MRI or CT scans, any angiogram, and a summary from your doctor. Hospitals usually reply with a suggested treatment and a cost estimate.
How long before I can fly home?
Often two to four weeks, depending on the operation and your recovery. Your surgeon will advise when it is safe to fly.
Prices are indicative and change often. Hospitals confirm the price after reviewing your reports. Check visa rules on official government sites before you book. This page is general information, not medical advice.
