Privacy policy

Medical Cost Kenya ("we") runs medicalcost.co.ke. This policy explains what we collect and why, in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
- Quote requests: your name, WhatsApp number, the procedure you ask about, your area, timing and any notes you add.
- Messages: what you send through the contact form.
- Price reports: the amount and type of facility you report. We do not ask for your name.
- Technical data: your IP address, used to prevent spam and abuse.
A quote request can reveal information about your health. We treat it as sensitive and only use it as described here.
How we use it
With your consent, we share your quote request with up to 3 registered facilities that offer the treatment, so they can contact you with a price. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for up to 24 months so we can follow up and improve price ranges, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by contacting hello@medicalcost.co.ke. Facilities that received your request also hold your details and must handle them under the same law.
